Grand staircases, Blue Select steps, flagstone walkways, front stoops and Belgian block borders — laid out as one run, with every riser matched to its neighbor.
Real projects, photographed on site — every one hand-set by Edgar’s crew.

Every riser has to match its neighbors — the eye and the foot both notice. We lay out the full run before the first stone is set.
Steps carry concentrated loads. Each one sits on a solid, drained base.
Treads are set with a slight pitch so rain runs off instead of standing and freezing.
Columns are capped, and walkway edges are finished — in stone, or in Belgian block that holds its line for generations.
Compare every stone in The Stone Library.
Yes. We assess the base first: if it is sound, we reset or replace the stone; if it has failed, we rebuild it so the new steps don’t follow the old ones down.
Choose a textured finish such as thermal bluestone, and use sand or calcium magnesium acetate for traction — never rock salt, which attacks stone and joints.
Yes — Belgian block borders and aprons set on a reinforced base, and repairs to existing borders.
