Stone is set when the ground is ready. The calendar is set long before. Each winter, Edgar opens a limited book of spring commissions — walked, designed and priced in the quiet months, and built first when the season breaks.
Reserved estates are scheduled before the season opens to new requests — the first start dates of the year.
Edgar walks your property this winter. Layout, stone selection and drainage are settled while the ground rests.
Your commission is priced in a written proposal. Sign it, and one deposit holds your spring start window.
When the season breaks, your project starts first — before the spring calendar opens to anyone else.
Every spring, the best weeks go fast. Reserved commissions take them before the calendar opens.
Stone, layout, drainage and permits are worked out calmly in winter — not decided in a hurry in April.
Your proposal fixes the scope and the price when you sign. Your warranty is written into it too: five years on the stone, ten on the base.
Tell us about the project and when you would like to begin. We will call within 24–48 hours to schedule Edgar’s walk-through — free, and with no obligation.

Luxury isn’t loud. It’s built right.
No. Edgar’s walk-through is where the design begins — layout, stone, drainage and base are settled on site. If you already have a landscape architect’s drawing, we build to it.
When you sign your proposal, a deposit holds your start window and is credited in full to your commission. Nothing is paid before you sign, and in Maryland the deposit never exceeds one third of the contract price.
A limited number — every project is led by Edgar personally, and the calendar is built around that. When the spring Book is full, new requests move to summer.
It belongs in the Book too. Steps, walkways, walls and repairs are reserved exactly like estate work — and get the same base and the same warranty.
