Edgar Stone Masonry LLC (“Edgar Stone Masonry,” “we,” “us”) is a residential stone masonry company serving Washington, D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia. This policy explains what information we collect through edgarstonemasonryllc.com and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you send a form on this site — a private estimate request, a Spring Book reservation, the Commission Planner, a trade inquiry or a crew application — we collect what you enter: typically your name, phone number, email address, property address, project details, timing, investment range and how you heard about us. When you call, text or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. This site uses Google’s advertising tag (gtag.js) to measure whether visits from our Google ads lead to inquiries. Google may set cookies and collect information such as your browser and device type, the pages you visit and your approximate location, under Google’s own privacy policy. Our website host, Netlify, processes standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type and pages requested — to deliver and secure the site.
Preferences stored on your device. If you turn off the background sound, the site remembers that choice in your browser’s local storage. Stone Studio settings may be remembered the same way. This information stays on your device.
Embedded video. Films on this site are hosted by YouTube and Instagram. When you play one, those services may set their own cookies and collect information under their own policies.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, schedule a site visit, prepare a proposal, carry out and invoice your project, honor your warranty, review job applications, measure our advertising, and keep this site secure.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We will not add you to a marketing list without your permission.
Text messages
If you text the office, we use your number to reply about your inquiry or project. We do not send marketing text messages without your consent. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business — for example website hosting and forms (Netlify), email, electronic signature (Dropbox Sign), invoicing and payments (Square), and advertising measurement (Google) — and only as needed for that purpose. We may also share information when you ask us to (for example, with your architect or builder), or when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and project information for as long as it is needed to respond to you, complete your project, honor the warranty period, and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Your choices
You may ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing office@edgarstonemasonryllc.com. We may need to keep certain records — such as signed contracts and invoices — where the law requires it.
You can manage how Google personalizes ads at adssettings.google.com, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information you send us, and the site is served over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
